Our Relationship With Bawa - with our wisdom within us, is the start of our relationship with our truth, with God within our wisdom, with God within Bawa within us, which is the only relationship we need, the only relationship that will never harm us 51. Before Our Physical Death - we must obtain a heart of purity 52. Before Our Physical Death - we must die to ourselves, we must make the world of illusion that we contain in our hearts, and see in our ignorace as existing "outside" of us, die within our wisdom and truth within us, die within Bawa and God within us 53. Before Our Physical Death - God must pass judgment upon all lives within us, and we must become through this judgment the light of God to the world. 54. Before Our Physical Death - we must become the qualities, actions, and duty of God within us 55. The Reason Bawa Came Into The World - was to raise His Children and return them to God 56. Before Our Physical Death - we must understand the nature of our true Father, and the nature of our false fathers 57. Before Our Physical Death - we must accept Bawa with us, and God within Him, who are "One" with each other and with us, as our true Father, and we must try hard to do what They tell us, by joining in "partnership" with Them within us, that is, with Bawa within us, and with God within Him, by saying the word Bawa, estabishing the "Presence of God" within us, disappearing within Bawa within us, and within God within Him, before we "say or do" anything, and by immediately stopping all of our "working for wages" in order to get into heaven Text of Spiritual Letter - for Page 11 50. Our Relationship With Bawa - with our wisdom within us, is the start of our relationship with our truth, with God within our wisdom, with God within Bawa within us, which is the only relationship we need, the only relationship that will never harm us A Beautiful Explanation By Bawa: One day during the month of Ramadan, the month of fast that is observed within the Islamic religion, a child asked Bawa the following question: ----- Beginning of Discourse by His Holiness ----- "For a long time I had been feeling a sense of fear in my heart about speaking to Bawa. That feeling of fear had been giving me some difficulties for quite some time. Recently I had been wondering how to overcome that fear of speaking to Bawa. Then yesterday when I was sitting in Bawa's room I realized that the relationship between Bawa and myself was the very same relationship that Bawa is teaching us to have with God". "I would like to ask Bawa's forgiveness for waiting so long to come and speak about this fear that I was experiencing. I would now like to establish that balance and openness that belongs in the relationship between the Shaikh and Disciple" Bawa then gave the following response to this request: "I am not a tiger that people should be scared of me. Everyone of you children, I have given birth to you in my heart. I have fed you with the milk of love, the milk of wisdom, in order to dispel the darkness of your birth. I am trying to form a heart within you that will drive away injustice and unrighteousness and replace them with righteousness." 51. Before Our Physical Death - We Must Obtain A Heart of Purity "I am trying to form a heart within you that will understand your own life, a heart that will dispel the darkness that enshrouds your wisdom, a heart that will do what is right and drive away what is wrong, a heart that will only speak the truth and drive away falsehood, a heart that will worship only the one God and chase away the other deities that we tend to worship, a heart that before our physical death will die within our creator and loose itself within God". 52. Before Our Physical Death - We Must Die To Ourselves, We Must Make The World That We Contain In Our Hearts Die Within God "Now, wise men have said, 'Die before your death. That is best for you'. But how can you die before your death?" "We have been born so this body has to die at sometime, the angel of death will come at our time of physical death. But before the angel of death comes to us we must die to ourselves. Since we have been born death will come to us. So what is the meaning of dying before that? This dying before death means that we must make our hearts die within God. We must make the world that we contain within our heart die within God. Whatever we are holding as the world within our heart we must loose all of that within God". 53. Before Our Physical Death - We Must Pass Judgment Upon All Lives Within Us, And Become Through This Judgment The Light of God To The World "If we can make the world within our hearts die in this fashion that is death before the real death. If we can obtain that state of death before death we will not have to face the day of reckoning or judgment. For such people there is no judgment because they do not hold the world within themselves, the world has died away from them. So people in this state have only the light of God within themselves". "So we must make this mind die, this mind which has its desires and its cravings, running around here and there for earth, gold, and woman, this mind which magnifies the world and makes it appear so vast, this mind which holds the earth as very valuable". 54. Before Our Physical Death - We Must Become The Duty of God "We must live in the world as the lotus leaf in the water. Even though we live in the world we must do our duty in the same way that a lotus leaf does its duty. Even though a lotus leaf lives in the water it does not hold any water within itself, it lets the water roll away from it." 55. The Reason Bawa Came Into The World - To Raise His Children And Return Them To God "It is to show you and guide you to such a state that we gave birth to you in this heart, and fed you with the milk of love of wisdom and the honey of wisdom." "We have given birth to you so that you may receive God's wealth, the wealth of all three worlds. It is for this reason that God sent me here." 56. Before Our Physical Death - We Must Understand The Nature of A True Father, And The Nature of False Fathers "Therefore, I am not a lion or a tiger or a fox or a wolf that you should be afraid of. I am not like one of these gurus that go in search of disciples so they can thrive on the disciples. These types of gurus do not know the answers to the questions that the disciples ask so they hid somewhere and they cannot be seen except by long term appointments." "A True Guru has to be your father and your mother and your brother, always talking with you, anytime, answering your questions." "So, why should you fear such a teacher? If you really had faith you would not fear such a teacher". "But there was a time when no one could come anywhere near me. If I said stop a person would stop. If I said let him die a person who die. There was a time like that. But over the last forty years that quality went away." "Because certain children had to serve me they were permitted to come near me. In the olden days female children had to stay far away from me. But the qualities of patience and tolerance come into me to control that nature." 57. Before Our Physical Death - we must accept Bawa with us, and God within Him, who are "One" with each other and with us, as our true Father, and we must try hard to do what They tell us, by joining in "partnership" with Them within us, that is, with Bawa within us, and with God within Him, by saying the word Bawa, estabishing the "Presence of God" within us, disappearing within Bawa within us, and within God withi Him, before we "say or do" anything, and by immediately stopping all of our "working for wages" in order to get into heaven "You can never again find a Guru, a Teacher, a Shaikh, a Father, or a Friend like me. You will never find one like this anywhere else". "If I am allowed to stay a little longer I will tell you of the things I know. If we get the opportunity. If God gives me the opportunity." "You must try hard. There is no reason that you have to fear me. I have given birth to you from my heart. I have fed you with the milk of my heart. No matter how many mistakes you make my role is to forgive you and advise you, not to punish you. Do you understand?"
